Nick Rust appointed Chair of UKGC Industry Forum

The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has chosen Nick Rust as the Chair of its Industry Forum. Rust assumes the role in November and will serve a two-year term. With experience in both the gambling and sport sectors, including a successful stint as CEO of the British Horseracing Authority, Rust brings valuable knowledge to the position. He currently holds the position of Chair at the Starting Price Regulatory Commission and is a Non-Executive Director of Redcar Racecourse. Rust is also a founding partner of GVS EQ, a company specializing in equine sports, and a trustee of the Injured Jockeys Fund.

Chair of the Commission, Marcus Boyle, expressed delight at Rust’s appointment, stating that his extensive knowledge of the gambling sector makes him a valuable asset to the Industry Forum. The Commission expects Rust to collaborate effectively with them to create a productive and insightful forum.
