Bragg Gaming collaborates with Betnation to introduce Metric Gaming Sportsbook in The Netherlands

Bragg Gaming Group Launches Betnation Sportsbook in the Dutch Market

Bragg Gaming Group has announced the opening of the Betnation sportsbook, which will be the first to use Metric Gaming technology in the Dutch market. According to the terms of the extension agreement, Bragg gives access to Metric’s sportsbook technology via its existing relationship with the developer, and Bragg is trying to integrate this technology into Betnation’s present setup.

The integration provides Betnation with access to Bragg’s in-house regulatory reporting capabilities, as well as cutting-edge marketing and promotional tools available through Bragg’s Fuze toolset. The arrangement represents the first time Metric’s sportsbook technology has been used by Bragg Gaming Group for a Bragg client, with similar launches planned for future Bragg clients.

This arrangement attempts to provide an operator with all of the autonomy and control of an in-house created sportsbook, but through an outsourced solution that is less expensive for the operator and allows operators to focus more on consumers. The introduction comes at a critical point in the sporting calendar, with the UEFA European Championship Football competition beginning in Germany on June 14, 2024, and the Paris 2024 Olympics starting a month later in July.

Expanding Offerings

Betnation has been a long-standing client of Bragg Gaming, having signed a comprehensive technology, content aggregation, and managed services agreement covering the Dutch market back in April 2022. The sportsbook debut comes after the Dutch Gambling Regulator, the Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), granted Betnation a sports betting license last month, building on Betnation’s previous iGaming license award.

Betnation currently uses Bragg’s constantly updated, cutting-edge Player Account Management (PAM) platform in the Dutch market, as well as Bragg’s iGaming content aggregation services, which include casino content from multiple in-house studios and exclusive content from multiple studio partners. The Fuze consumer engagement toolbox for iGaming allows automated, real-time in-game gamification, conversion, and retention strategies.

Matevž Mazij, CEO of Bragg, was delighted to assist Betnation in expanding their existing iCasino product into sportsbook for the first time, delivering a novel and game-changing solution to offer sports betting while reducing financial and operational constraints. Betnation’s Chief Executive Officer, Robert Schouten, thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for providing them a sports betting license and expressed excitement about the company’s debut sportsbook offering with Bragg and Metric.

The next summer of athletic events will definitely be a busy one for Dutch bettors, and Betnation is thrilled to provide a diverse choice of betting options to their consumers.
