What is the size of the Battle Bus hitbox in Rocket League?

Rocket League Cars: The Differences Explained

In Rocket League, there are many cars with unique shapes and styles. However, it has been confirmed by Psyonix that all cars have the same stats. This means that they all have equal speed, acceleration, and power.

So, what sets these cars apart? The only difference lies in the hitbox. The hitbox is an invisible box around the car that determines how it interacts with the ball and other cars. There are six types of hitboxes in Rocket League: Breakout, Dominus, Hybrid, Merc, Octane, and Plank Hitbox.

Psyonix has recently partnered with Epic Games for a special event in Rocket League. As part of the Rocket League free-to-play campaign, the Llama-Rama event began on September 26th and will continue until October 12th.

During this event, players have the opportunity to complete challenges and earn rewards in both Rocket League and Fortnite. One of the rewards in Rocket League is the Battle Bus vehicle, which has the same appearance as the iconic Fortnite Battle Bus. It uses the Merc hitbox, making it the only car, other than the Merc itself, with this hitbox type.

The Battle Bus vehicle is the final reward in the five challenges available during the Llama-Rama event. In addition to the Battle Bus, players will also receive a Battle Balloon Antenna, Battle Bus Wheels, and a Battle Bus Engine Audio.

Psyonix keeps a record of all car hitboxes on its support website. The Dominus and Octane hitboxes are the most commonly used among players. It is possible for hitbox types to change in future updates, but the support website is continuously updated. For example, the Merc used to have an Octane hitbox before receiving its own unique hitbox.
