Veloce Esports Parts Ways with Rocket League Team, Exiting Competitive Scene

Veloce Esports Drops Rocket League Roster, Transitions to New Team

Veloce Esports has decided to end its venture in the Rocket League esports scene by dropping its roster. Most of the former Veloce players have already formed a new team called “Top Blokes.” Throughout their year in the competitive scene, Veloce showcased their strength in the European league, qualifying for multiple Majors and achieving a third-place finish in Rocket League Championship Series Season Eight – Europe. They also placed fifth in the RLCS Season 8 Finals and sixth in RLCS Season Nine – Europe.

Despite their success, Veloce Esports has decided to part ways with Rocket League. Jack “FlamE” Pearton, one of the founding players of Veloce, expressed that the decision was mutual and wished the organization the best moving forward. FlamE and Andy “Kassio” Landais will continue to play together under the new team name “Top Blokes,” while Sandro “FreaKii.” Holzwarth will not be joining them. Instead, they have signed Archie “archie” Pickthall to fill the vacant spot.

Former Veloce head coach Reece “RamS” Mullins will also continue to coach FlamE and Kassio in their new venture. Although it is unclear why Veloce decided to leave the Rocket League scene after just a year of competing, they have stated that they do not have plans to re-enter the RLCS with a new team in the near future but have not ruled out a potential return later on.
