Upcoming feature in Rocket League: Player Anthems play music upon scoring a goal or making an epic save

The Upcoming Player Anthems Feature in Rocket League Season Two

Rocket League players can now experience triumphant moments with a soundtrack. The game’s upcoming Player Anthems feature will play a piece of music every time players score a goal or make an epic save. This exciting addition will be available when season two launches on Dec. 9.

When a player scores a goal, makes a save, or receives MVP honors, the songs will play for everyone in the session. To give players a taste of the feature, Psyonix is offering five free tracks:

  • “Angel Wings” by Mike Ault feat. Avianna Acid
  • “Flying Forever” by Mike Ault feat. Morgan Perry
  • “I Can Be” by Mike Ault feat. Crysta
  • “Love Thru the Night” by Mike Ault
  • “We Speak Chinese” by Mike Ault and Abandoned Carnival

As time goes on, the music collection in Rocket League will grow. Players can obtain more songs through challenges, Rocket Pass (free and Premium tracks), and the Item Shop. However, it remains unclear whether the Anthems are tradable between players. They will function as collectible items with varying rarities.

Psyonix has also collaborated with musical artist Kaskade to create a tailor-made EP for Rocket League. These songs will become part of the game’s OST and will be released as Anthems during gameplay.

The addition of Player Anthems aligns well with the musical theme of Rocket League’s season two. Players can not only enjoy in-game music but also dive into Neon Fields, where Soccar matches take place alongside an electrifying concert. Don’t miss out on the action!
