Rocket League’s mobile version, Rocket League Sideswipe, is now available

Rocket League Sideswipe – Now Available on iOS and Android

The highly anticipated game, Rocket League Sideswipe, is now available as a free-to-play title on iOS and Android devices through the App Store and Google Play Store. Players can now enjoy the popular car-soccer game in a 2D version specifically designed for mobile audiences.

The mobile version of Rocket League, called Sideswipe, features a simplified control scheme and user-friendly layout. Touchscreen controls allow players to use their left hand to control the car and buttons on the right side to initiate boosts and jumps.

Easy-to-Play Modes

Sideswipe currently offers one-on-one or two-on-two matches, available in both the traditional car-soccer style and the Hoops car-basketball side-mode. Players can enjoy competitive, casual, and offline modes as well.

During its pre-season, Sideswipe is being extensively tested to gather player feedback and data. This valuable information will help game developer Psyonix fine-tune the experience before the official launch of season one.

A Separate Game: Rocket League vs. Sideswipe

Sideswipe is a standalone game separate from the original Rocket League. It has its own currency, items, and cosmetics, which are not compatible with the main game. Players won’t have access to unlocked items from Rocket League when playing Sideswipe.
