Rocket League’s arrival on Xbox One hinted by recent filing

Rocket League Might Be Coming to Xbox One Soon

After a successful launch on PlayStation 4 and PC, Rocket League is now set to become an esport. Xbox One users have been feeling left out, but that might soon change.

An Xbox One filing for Rocket League was briefly seen on Taiwan’s Game Software Rating Regulations Bureau website before being removed. However, a screenshot of the filing was captured by a Twitter user named lifelower.

While the screenshot could potentially be a fake, there is other evidence that suggests a potential Xbox One release for Rocket League.

A few months ago, Psyonix’s VP of Marketing, Jeremy Dunham, confirmed that Rocket League would be coming to additional platforms. He stated, “We’ll have an official announcement of what platforms those are (and when) a little further down the line.”

Just last month, studio director for Psyonix, Dave Hagewood, hinted at an imminent Xbox One announcement. He said, “We’re looking at all kinds of platforms and there may be some announcements coming up at some point. Hopefully before the end of the year, but I can’t confirm that.”

Regardless of whether the Xbox One release for Rocket League is confirmed or not, fans are excited about the possibility of playing the game with Xbox Live Party Chat.
