Xbox Series X and S Launches, PlayStation 5 Release Imminent

The highly anticipated launches of the Xbox Series X and S have finally arrived, with the PlayStation 5 set to release in just two days. Gamers eager to play Rocket League on the next-gen consoles will be pleased to know that they won’t have to wait, as the game will be available at launch, as announced by Psyonix today.

Excitingly, fans can already enjoy playing Rocket League on the Xbox Series X or S. On the Series X, the game runs at a stunning 4K resolution with 60 frames per second (FPS) and High Dynamic Range (HDR). Meanwhile, on the Series S, it achieves a solid 1080p resolution with 60 FPS and HDR.

PlayStation 5 players will also have the same immersive experience, with Rocket League running at 4K and a smooth 60FPS, complemented by HDR. Additionally, an update is expected to be released later this year, allowing users to choose between video quality and performance in the Video tab of the Settings menu.

The good news is, your Rocket Pass progress and inventory will seamlessly transfer to the new consoles when connected to your Epic Games account. According to Psyonix, players can expect significantly faster load times and improved splitscreen performance on all new consoles.

Excitingly, Rocket League is not only free to play but is also available on various platforms like the PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
