Psyonix unveils full lineup of new features for Rocket League this Summer

Psyonix’s Summer Plans for Rocket League

Psyonix has revealed their upcoming plans for Rocket League this summer, with a series of exciting updates on the way.

In late May, Psyonix will be distributing the season seven competitive rewards to mark the start of season eight. Additionally, May’s update will introduce a new arena and in-game music.

June will bring a Summer-themed in-game event featuring exclusive items, as well as a new licensed premium DLC based on an established property. The theme for the DLC has not yet been revealed. Furthermore, the RLCS Season 5 World Championship will take place in June.

In July, Psyonix will be celebrating Rocket League’s birthday with another in-game event, featuring retro throwback content.

In addition to these updates, Psyonix will be introducing new features to Rocket League. One of the highly anticipated features is a cross-platform party system, allowing players to create parties with friends regardless of the system they are playing on.

A new levelling system will also be implemented, replacing the level cap of 75. As players level up, they will be rewarded with items and have the opportunity to earn new titles after reaching level 100 in the new system.
