Psyonix backs 10 community tournaments during the summer

Psyonix Supports Community Rocket League Tournaments to Bridge Event Gap

Psyonix, the developer of Rocket League, has chosen to support 10 community tournaments throughout June and July instead of launching its own initiative. These tournaments will receive over $300,000 in support and partnerships, benefiting from the expertise of the best tournament organizers and community members in the Rocket League community.

By investing in the community during a time when only community-run events are taking place, Psyonix aims to ensure that these tournaments are enjoyable for both professional players and newcomers alike. The developer states, “We know that Rocket League and Rocket League Esports both have incredibly passionate and amazing communities, and we wanted to give back to those that continue to support competition and fandom around the globe.”

All 10 events have been carefully selected to provide a fun and competitive atmosphere by organizations and individuals that Psyonix believes deserve recognition. Here is a list of the events and their respective dates:

  • Codename: COVERT – June 8 to 14
  • The Brawl 10K – June 15 to 20
