Nintendo Switch gets Rocket League today

Rocket League Now Available on Nintendo Switch Worldwide

Get ready for thrilling action as Rocket League has finally arrived on Nintendo Switch globally.

The Switch version of the game was announced during Nintendo’s E3 presentation earlier this year. Developed by Psyonix, the game boasts all the features, upgrades, and content from other platforms, along with exclusive battle cars and items for Nintendo Switch players.

Players can now unlock Mario, Luigi, and Samus themed cars in the Nintendo Switch version of the game. These items are earned as rewards for completed matches and can be unlocked for free.

Rocket League, which combines cars and soccer, gained immense popularity on Twitch after its release in 2015. Over the years, it has developed a thriving esports scene, with top teams like Cloud9 and G2 Esports participating in the recent Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) finals where a prize of $150,000 was awarded and tens of thousands of viewers tuned in to watch.

One of the highlights of Rocket League is its cross-platform play capability, allowing players on PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch to compete against each other. Whether you’re gaming on a PC or on the go with your Switch, everyone gets to enjoy the game on an equal footing.

Rocket League is now available on the Nintendo eShop for $19.99.
