xQc’s GTA RP Character Meets a Dramatic End

Grand Theft Auto Roleplay Takes Twitch by Storm

Popular Twitch streamers are diving headfirst into the world of Grand Theft Auto roleplay servers. Among them is former Overwatch pro Félix “xQc” Lengyel, who recently joined the NoPixel server.

During a livestream yesterday, xQc’s character on NoPixel, named Jean-Pierre, met an untimely end. After climbing to the top of a tall building, xQc turned to his friend Boggs Dann, played by Twitch streamer Pokelawls. “I will remember these moments forever,” xQc said to Pokelawls before his character leapt off the roof. With gripping music playing in the background and outstanding acting, the scene was worthy of an Oscar.

However, xQc’s decision to kill off his character on NoPixel was not solely for content creation. He had been facing aggression from his own community and other viewers due to choices he made in the game. xQc even addressed the situation on his social media.

“I know some of you may be surprised, but when streamers are playing RP, the character they portray isn’t REAL,” xQc said. “It’s all about fun because it’s not real, and we make choices we wouldn’t make in real life. Stop being so hostile, it ruins the experience for everyone.”

This issue is not unique to xQc and has been a problem for many roleplaying streamers, as viewers may not always approve of their in-game actions.

Nevertheless, this doesn’t mean that xQc will stop streaming NoPixel RP entirely. It might mean, however, that he will temporarily return to streaming Overwatch and Apex Legends.
