Leaked GTA 6 information hints at a comeback to Vice City

Leaked Gameplay of Grand Theft Auto 6 Reveals Vice City Setting

One of the biggest gaming leaks of all time revolves around the highly anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto 6 from Rockstar Games. On the morning of September 18, 2022, fans came across numerous videos showcasing prebuild gameplay and development footage. These leaks provide a glimpse of cars, weapons, characters, features, and at least part of the setting.

Several leaks posted on Reddit and Twitter confirm that Vice City will be one of the primary locations in GTA 6. Vice City, a location familiar to GTA fans and inspired by Miami, appears in the leaks on building sides, cop cars, the transit system, and various other areas. The source of the leaks is believed to be a developer’s Slack account.

The cop car in the leaked footage bears a different name, suggesting it could belong to a particular district within the greater Vice City area or even a separate city altogether.

Vice City, an iconic location that first appeared 20 years ago in GTA: Vice City and later in Vice City Stories, may not be the sole setting for GTA 6. Earlier reports suggested that the game would take place across multiple locations, with Vice City serving as the backdrop for just a part of the single-player story. If Port Gellhorn is indeed a separate city, these reports would be confirmed.

Renowned games reporter Jason Schreier has already received confirmation from Rockstar that all the leaks surrounding GTA 6 are legitimate. However, Rockstar has yet to release an official statement or confirm the inclusion of Vice City in GTA 6.
