Here are some of the most absurd requests from players for GTA 6.

Speculating on Grand Theft Auto 6: What Players Want to See

Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) is currently in the works at Rockstar Games, and players are already buzzing about what they hope to see in the next installment. A recent Reddit post grabbed my attention, as it delves into the silly but memorable aspects of previous games.

In GTA, players are accustomed to stealing cars, breaking the law, and engaging in violent activities. However, it seems that players also have a fascination with silliness in the game. Perhaps it’s because we tend to remember the silly moments more vividly than all the violence. Imagine taking down six armored vans with a rocket launcher, or doing the same mission using a remote-controlled toy plane (GTA: San Andreas). These unique missions and activities are what set the GTA series apart.

Transforming Everyday Activities into Criminal Acts

In GTA 4, Rockstar made college lectures and blind dates exciting. In GTA 5, players infiltrated a social media company and removed viruses from a PC. These missions may have started innocently, but they quickly turned chaotic and dangerous. Rockstar has a knack for turning mundane activities into criminal acts in disguise.

Non-Violent Side Activities

One aspect that has always been present in GTA games is the inclusion of non-violent side activities. From playing mini-games like pool, bowling, and darts, to participating in triathlons and trading stocks in the market, GTA has offered players a chance to engage in non-violent fun. In the next game, it would be interesting to see players become good neighbors and mow their lawns. Perhaps even racing neighbors with a lawnmower would be a delightful addition. And of course, finding creative ways to avoid fines from the HOA would be a must.

Adding Realism to Traffic Rules

An interesting suggestion from players is the inclusion of traffic rules in the game. If the cops chase you for every criminal act, shouldn’t they also chase you for running red lights? This addition could add a new layer of realism to the game, forcing players to be more aware of their surroundings and adhere to traffic regulations. However, it’s worth considering the potential annoyance factor this could bring.

Reminiscing on Silly Glitches

One player reminisces about a minor glitch in GTA 4 involving a swing. Whenever a vehicle was pressed against it, the swing would launch the player away. It was a silly and hilarious glitch that many players found amusing. Bringing back nostalgic glitches like this could add a touch of silliness that fans enjoy.

Silly activities like mowing lawns and attending lectures may seem out of place in the criminal world of GTA, but they help the game stand out. As we eagerly await the release of GTA 6, we can only hope that Rockstar surprises us with even more silliness.
