GTA 6: Vice City Returns with Enhanced Map

A First Look at the Massive Map of Grand Theft Auto 6

The highly-anticipated trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 was released on Dec. 4, giving avid fans a first look at the game. The map showcased in the trailer is stunningly gargantuan.

GTA 6 will be returning to Vice City, the iconic location first seen in GTA: Vice City back in 2002. With the 2025 update, Vice City has undergone an incredible facelift, as depicted in the trailer.

The new Vice City in GTA 6 boasts dynamic lighting, enhanced textures, and breathtaking skyboxes. The map is a fusion of various “biomes” and locations. Players can explore downtown Vice City with towering skyscrapers and luxury hotels, as well as pristine beaches, suburbs, and even rural areas reminiscent of the Everglades in Florida.

Many fans have already noticed the striking resemblance between the new map and Miami and its surroundings. Some fans have even compared Vice City’s night shots to those of Cyberpunk 2077, citing their superior quality.

While the trailer showcases some iconic landmarks like Leaf Links and Washington Beach, there is undoubtedly much more to uncover and explore in Vice City when GTA 6 finally launches. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait another year or more to immerse themselves in this expansive world.
