Grand Theft Auto 6 Will Skip PS4 and Xbox One
According to recent reports, Grand Theft Auto 6 will only be released for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, skipping the previous generation. However, there is no information as of now about a PC release.
Delayed Reveal and Console Launch
Rockstar was forced to release the reveal trailer for GTA 6 earlier than planned due to a leak. Take-Two confirmed that the game will launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2025. It is surprising that there was no mention of a PC version in the press release.
Uncertain Future for PC Release
Despite the lack of information, it is unlikely that there won’t be a PC release. All previous games in the series are available on PC via Steam, so it would be strange for Rockstar and Take-Two to exclude a significant portion of their audience. However, PC owners may have to wait longer to play GTA 6 compared to console players.
Frustration and Speculation
The delay in the PC release has disappointed PC owners, who have been expressing their frustration online. It’s understandable considering the anticipation for GTA 6. The trailer for the game has been a huge success, with over 60 million views and seven million likes on YouTube at the time of writing.
