Fans’ Disappointed Reaction to GTA 6 Not Releasing on PC: ‘Lost All Interest Now’

GTA 6 Trailer and Release Information Revealed

Finally, the long-awaited trailer for GTA 6 has been unveiled, providing fans with more insight into the game. However, there is disappointing news for PC players as the game will only be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S upon launch. This has been a common practice for Rockstar with previous game releases, but it has sparked outrage among fans who were hoping for a PC release.

The response from fans has been split into two camps. Some find it absurd that there won’t be a PC release, believing that Rockstar should adapt to the changing times. Others argue that this has always been Rockstar’s approach and therefore find it acceptable. However, the latter viewpoint doesn’t dismiss the concerns raised by the former. Doing things the same way as before doesn’t seem fitting in the modern gaming landscape.

While the game promises an expansive single-player experience, it is expected to thrive as the new era of GTA Online. The question remains: which will come first, the launch of GTA Online or the PC port? Without a PC version, the online experience will feel incomplete, and it will diminish the value of PC content creators who have played a significant role in extending the life of GTA 5 since its release in 2013.

Currently, there is limited information about when the game will be released on PC. A rumored 2024 release has already been delayed until 2025. It is possible that the PC port will be available four or more years after the game’s trailer was initially revealed on December 4, 2023. This timeline is unacceptable for the thousands, if not tens of thousands, of PC players eagerly awaiting the new GTA.
