Does Elon Musk understand that video games are not reality?

Elon Musk Criticized for Disliking Video Game’s Opening Scene

Video games have a unique ability to evoke emotions in players, but they are not real. However, Elon Musk seems to think otherwise. In a tweet, Musk admitted that he never completed GTA 5 because the opening scene required him to shoot police officers, which he couldn’t bring himself to do. This bizarre implication that killing virtual police officers reflects a person’s character in real life is simply baffling. Video games are fictional and the characters we encounter in them do not have real lives or families. Here is the controversial tweet.

Musk’s statement is contradictory to the rebellious persona he tries to portray. This is the same person who notoriously smoked a doobie on the Joe Rogan podcast. Naturally, his tweet received widespread ridicule. Hard Drive humorously thanked him for his service as a GTA police officer, while the managing editor of GameSpot, Tamoor Hussain, called him a loser for his behavior on the internet.

It’s always frustrating when someone goes against popular opinion and expresses their dislike for something that others enjoy, especially for such a trivial reason as not wanting to engage in criminal activities in a game called Grand Theft Auto.
