A leaked video from the upcoming game GTA 6 shows a player crawling in a warehouse. This isn’t a cutscene as there is no reason for the actor to crawl, indicating that crawling may be a new gameplay feature.
A Reddit post by u/Tony_Barks reveals a character in a white tank top crawling on the ground and standing up. In previous Grand Theft Auto games, crawling was not necessary, so why would it be required now?
This video clip is actually an in-game animation, not just a video. Animators can recognize the little bar at the bottom left, which represents the animation file and ends when it finishes. It resembles scene setups in animations, video games, or animated movies where characters react to button presses.
While Rockstar fans should approach this leak cautiously, if it turns out to be true, players in Grand Theft Auto will have the ability to crawl. This could be a stealth mechanic, similar to Mafia 3, where players need to assassinate targets without detection. It might also be necessary for players to find creative ways to navigate various areas in Grand Theft Auto 6.
