5 Must-Have Features GTA 6 Should Offer for GTA RP Enthusiasts

5 Features GTA 6 Should Have for GTA RP Fans

The hype for Grand Theft Auto 6 is increasing as Rockstar Games announced that a trailer for the highly-anticipated sequel will be released in December 2023. This excitement is fueled by the long-lasting popularity of Grand Theft Auto 5, which continues to receive regular updates for its online component.

GTA 5 roleplay has also contributed to the game’s lasting popularity, thanks to the use of a third-party mod called FiveM. This mod adds numerous features to the online game, making it more immersive and creating a new way to play GTA. However, many of these features should be integrated into the base game, and with GTA 6 on the horizon, now is the perfect time to consider how to incorporate them.

Proximity Voice Chat is a Must

In order to make RP more accessible when GTA 6 is released, it is crucial to include a built-in proximity chat option. Currently, FiveM servers use VOIP programs like Teamspeak, Mumble, or Discord for immersive voice communication. Adding localized or lobby-based voice chat will enhance the RP genre and improve the GTA experience for all players.

A More Expansive Character Creator

One feature that GTA RP fans would love to see in GTA 6 is a more extensive character creator. Currently, character creation in GTA Online is limited to selecting two parents whose features determine the appearance of the character’s face. The ability to edit height, build, and individual facial features would provide players with more control over their character’s appearance.

Additionally, improvements in hairstyles, clothing options, and the ability to apply tattoos to different body parts would offer players more freedom to express their character’s personality through their appearance.

Vehicle Customization Up the Wazoo

GTA 5 docks with fancy cars all lined along it, with plenty of colorful customizations.

Vehicle customization is an essential aspect of the GTA franchise that allows players to express themselves. GTA 5 already offers comprehensive car customization, but there is always room for improvement. Adding more options for painting the vehicle, including unique shades and the ability to paint individual doors different colors, would enhance the customization experience.

Furthermore, introducing body modifications to change the shape of vehicles would be a game-changer for car enthusiasts.

Quality-of-Life Additions Meaning Less Reliance on Mods

Mods have added numerous quality-of-life features to GTA 5 and Red Dead Online, making the game world feel more alive. GTA 6 could incorporate some of these features on release, such as a hunger meter, additional recreational activities, and custom robberies and jobs available in the overworld. Providing players with a range of legitimate income options like working at businesses, playing minigames, and customized properties would also enhance the roleplay experience.

Even small additions, such as the ability to sit in any chair or introducing a lockpicking minigame for stealing high-class vehicles, would go a long way toward full immersion.

A Built-In Emote System

While GTA 5 includes emotes, they are not as comprehensive as those found in roleplay servers. Implementing a built-in emote system in GTA 6, with a wide range of gestures like dances, waves, and hugs, would greatly enhance character expression and interaction.

GTA 6 is just around the corner, and both RP fans and casual players are excited to see what it has in store. Other potential quality-of-life features include a serverwide customizable radio and a map with listed street names by default. Introducing a new location to explore would also provide a breath of fresh air for long-time roleplayers and fans.

With such a massive budget, it is essential to include at least some of these features in GTA 6 to ensure a smooth transition of roleplay between GTA 5 and its successor.
