Following the Initial Steps
To begin the quest, head to the Wangshu Inn and talk to Lan, the proprietor. Accept the quest “Perilous Trail” from him.

Obtaining the Incense

Finding Jueyun Chili
To locate Jueyun Chili, you can head towards the Mingyun Village within Liyue. Ascend the cliffside in the village and look for glowing plants. Collect these plants, and you’ll acquire the Jueyun Chili.
Gathering Qingxin

Collecting Violetgrass
Violetgrass can be found in the wild areas of Liyue, near Mt. Aozang. Keep searching until you spot the distinctive purple plants. Collect them, and you will obtain the Violetgrass.
Returning to the Thousand Winds Temple
Once you have gathered all three types of incense, make your way back to the Thousand Winds Temple. Interact with the door once again and place the incense in the designated slots.
Upon completing this step, you’ll gain access to the next section of the Perilous Trail Quest. Follow the path, solve puzzles, and defeat enemies to progress further.
Locating Xiao
After successfully completing the challenges, you will ultimately find Xiao waiting for you. Talk to him and proceed with the dialogue to continue the quest.
