New Addition to Fortnite: Battle Royale – Vending Machines
A recent update to Fortnite: Battle Royale brings a new feature called Vending Machines. However, these machines are not for snacks or drinks but for trading building materials in exchange for weapons.
Find Vending Machines Across the Map
Vending Machines can be found throughout the map, specifically in larger and named areas such as Tilted Towers, Retail Row, and Greasy Grove.
Each Vending Machine offers a randomly-selected rarity for its items and holds three items at a time. To switch through items faster, you can hit the machine with your pickaxe.
Pricing and Rarity
- Common (white) items cost 100 materials.
- Uncommon (green) items cost 200 materials.
- Rare (blue) items cost 300 materials.
- Epic (purple) items cost 400 materials.
- Legendary (gold) items cost 500 materials.
The prices may seem steep, especially for the best items, but remember that you get what you pay for. Paying 500 metal for a golden SCAR assault rifle could be a worthy investment. The choice is yours.
