Fortnite Season 7 Extended: What to Expect in Season 8
Fortnite: Battle Royale is currently in its seventh season, which began on Dec. 6. This season has brought us a new winter-themed area, the infamous Infinity Blade, and the X-4 Stormwing planes to the game.
As we approach the end of season seven, players are eagerly awaiting to find out what season eight will bring. In a blog post at the start of December, Epic Games announced that they would be taking a winter break. To make up for this break, season seven will be extended by two weeks and will now end on Feb. 28.
While the end date for season seven has been revealed, there is still no information on what to expect in season eight. With Valentine’s Day on Feb. 14, it is possible that Epic Games could introduce love-themed rewards in the Battle Pass. And with Easter on April 21, we may also see some holiday-inspired skins and other spring-themed cosmetics added to the game.
With the end of season seven quickly approaching, now is the time for players to complete their challenges and unlock all of the rewards that Epic Games has in store.
