Epic Games Reveals Upcoming Balance Adjustments for Fortnite: Battle Royale v7.40 Update
Epic Games has announced some balance changes that will be included in the upcoming v7.40 update for Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Notable adjustments include nerfs to the Hand Cannon, Rocket Launcher, and X-4 Stormwing planes.

Piloting a Stormwing plane will no longer allow players to smash through structures, according to Epic’s Reddit post. The Hand Cannon’s damage to structures will be reduced from 150 to 100, and the Rocket Launcher will take 0.72 seconds longer to reload.
Furthermore, Epic will add an interact prompt to Ziplines and grant fall damage immunity to players using them. The Turbo Build delay has been reduced by 0.1 seconds, and players will have the ability to crouch while in Edit Mode.

The majority of the Fortnite community will likely be pleased with these balance adjustments, particularly the Hand Cannon and plane changes. The v7.40 update is set to release early this week.
