Fortnite: Battle Royale Update Adds New Cosmetics
The latest v8.20 update of Fortnite: Battle Royale has introduced a range of new cosmetic items to the game. While players can only speculate on what these additions might be, dataminers have uncovered a list of potential outfits, gliders, back blings, and emotes. Although these have yet to be confirmed by Epic Games, players could expect to see them in-game within the week.
Leaker Reveals Upcoming Cosmetics
Well-known leaker Lucas7Yoshi has shared a comprehensive list of the new items that may be arriving in Fortnite’s Item Shop this week. The list includes a variety of outfits, gliders, back blings, and emotes.
Potential Lava Legends and Pirate Options
The most notable leak is the potential Lava Legends cosmetics pack, which includes five Legendary items: the Molten Battle Hound and Molten Valkyrie outfits, the Molten Valkyrie Wings and Molten Crested Cape back blings, and the Lavawing glider. It’s unclear how this set will be sold in the game.
Pirates may also become a part of Fortnite, with the Buccaneer and Sea Wolf outfits aligning with the pirate theme of the High Seas pickaxe and the Barrel & Booty back bling. There are other cosmetics that could be part of a smaller set, such as the cactus-themed Prickly Patroller outfit and Prickly Axe pickaxe.
Additional Cosmetics to Look Forward To
In addition to the leaked items, there are other emotes and back blings that seem to belong to different sets. These include the Cuddle Doll back bling and the Cuddly Cruiser glider. Players will have to wait for Epic to release these items in Fortnite to see their appearance and the cost in V-Bucks.
