Team SoloMid Welcomes Vinny1x to its Fortnite Roster
Team SoloMid (TSM) has announced the signing of Vinny “Vinny1x” Gerald Gilgan to its Fortnite: Battle Royale roster. Vinny1x was the former duo partner of Anthony “ZexRow” Colandro, who was signed by TSM in December. The duo achieved a third-place finish in Vinny1x’s debut tournament at TwitchCon 2018. Since then, Vinny1x has participated in the Winter Royale and the Secret Skirmish, securing 14th and 12th places respectively.
“We’re thrilled to have another incredibly talented player join our team,” stated TSM’s announcement post. “Furthermore, we’re delighted to bring Vinny and ZexRow together, allowing them to compete under the same banner.”
The newest addition to TSM will be joining the North American team alongside ZexRow and other notable names in the competitive Fortnite scene, including Ali “Myth” Kabbani and Daequan “Daequan” Loco.

Vinny1x will make his tournament debut under the TSM banner at the Fortnite ESL Katowice, commencing on March 1. With a prize pool of $500,000, the event will feature players from major regions competing in solo and duo tournaments. Fans can catch the action on the ESL Fortnite Twitch channel, starting at 5am CT.
