Fortnite: Battle Royale
Fortnite: Battle Royale is an incredibly customizable game. You can personalize many aspects of your game, such as your character’s outfit, pickaxe, glider, and even the loading screens between games.
However, one thing that Fortnite lacks is weapon customization. This is surprising, considering that almost every other shooter game offers weapon skins.
A Reddit user named DRS733 agrees that Fortnite could benefit from weapon camos and they came up with an awesome concept for it.
In this concept, the game’s default assault rifle is given five different camos and associated challenges. These challenges can be customized, but they provide a good idea of how they could be implemented in-game. Weekly challenges already exist to earn Battle Stars and upgrade outfits, so imagine if there were more long-term challenges to earn rewards that last a lifetime.
Weapon camos would introduce a whole new level of customization to Fortnite. Epic Games could eventually offer camos for sale, include them in the Battle Pass, or make them challenge-specific. The possibilities are endless.
But why stop there? Camos could also be available for pickaxes and gliders. Imagine being able to turn any pickaxe into gold or diamond just by getting a certain number of kills with it. Epic Games could also have fun with the difficulty of the challenges, depending on how amazing the camo is.
Epic Games has continuously added content to Fortnite: Battle Royale, so hopefully camos will become a possibility in the future. There’s always room for more features in a video game.
