The Fortnite: Battle Royale island is already free of extra snow

Fortnite: Battle Royale players will have to wait until next year for snow

Fortnite players who missed out on playing the game over Christmas will have to wait until next year to experience the snowy island. The map has returned to its normal state, with only a small section in the southwestern region still covered in ice and snow. Many players were disappointed that the snow disappeared so quickly, especially those who were unable to play on Christmas. Despite the disappointment, there is still hope that Epic Games may bring back the snow for a Limited Time Mode in the future.

Players upset over quick disappearance of snow

Some players expressed their dissatisfaction with the snow disappearing so quickly. They felt disappointed to come back to the game the day after Christmas and find no snow. Many players wished that Epic Games had kept the snow until New Year’s or for a longer period of time. However, despite the complaints, players acknowledged that Epic Games has provided a lot of content during the holiday season.

Suggestions for keeping the snow during the 14 Days of Fortnite

Other players suggested that Epic Games could have kept the map covered in snow throughout the 14 Days of Fortnite event. However, now that the event has already started and both Christmas and the snow are gone, it is unlikely that Epic Games will bring back the snow anytime soon. There is a possibility of a Limited Time Mode featuring the snow in the future, but Epic Games has not yet revealed any plans for it or for other temporary map changes.

Map remains unchanged after snow meltdown

The map has returned to its original state after the snow melted. There have been no major changes to any areas of the map as of now. Players are still exploring and waiting to see if any new updates are on the horizon.
