Epic Games Resolves Issues with Fortnite Update

The latest update for Fortnite had a rocky start, with none of the promised additions appearing in the game. However, developer Epic Games has now fixed the problem and introduced the Fly Explosives LTM and the returning Guided Missile.

Despite the scheduled 3am CT update time and official patch notes, players were disappointed to find that none of the new features were actually in the game. This included the new explosives-only Limited Time Mode, the Slurp Juice fix, and the returning Guided Missile.

Understandably, this caused frustration among many players, with some criticizing Epic’s decision to skip downtime for this update. However, about an hour after the scheduled launch, Epic community manager Stacey Conley assured players on the official Fortnite Discord that the developers were aware and working on a fix.

It appears that the fix has now been implemented, as players are reporting that the Fly Explosives LTM is now available in the game mode menu selection screen.

The update not only brings the Fly Explosives LTM in both Duos and Squads, but also marks the return of the Guided Missile and includes a highly-anticipated patch for the Slurp Juice, which had been disabled for most of the past week. The Guided Missile has been nerfed to reduce player and structure damage, making it less overpowering.

Although it took some time for the content to appear in the game, it seems that everything is now functioning as intended.
