Soulja Boy’s Next Console to Feature Fortnite, According to Rapper
American rapper Soulja Boy has recently made waves in the gaming community as a video game console entrepreneur. In a recent interview with Complex, he dropped some surprising news.
Soulja Boy claimed that his next console will have the capability to play Fortnite. While it’s unclear how this will be accomplished, the rapper confirmed that the popular battle royale game will be featured on a future device.
“Yes, we’re working on it,” said Soulja Boy. “Not this one, on the next one you can [play Fortnite].”
There is no specific release date for Soulja Boy’s next console, nor any details on how he plans to secure a deal with Epic Games to bring Fortnite to his device.
Soulja Boy’s Console Entrepreneurship Struggles
However, Soulja Boy’s journey as a console entrepreneur has not been smooth sailing. In December, he had to remove his consoles from his online store due to the threat of a lawsuit from Nintendo, as they found similarities with their own devices. While he complied with Nintendo’s demands, he still released another console last week that resembles the PSP.
In addition to consoles, Soulja Boy also offers the SouljaPad tablet, SouljaPod earphones, SouljaWatch, and the SouljaPhone HT70 on his website. The release date for his next console and the possibility of Fortnite being playable on it remain uncertain.
