Saf and Zayt Secure Victory in the Fortnite Duos Tournament at ESL Katowice Royale

Ghost Gaming’s Saf and NRG Esports’ Zayt Win ESL Katowice Royale Fortnite Duos Tournament

Ghost Gaming’s Rocco “Saf” Morales and NRG Esports’ Williams “Zayt” Aubin put on an impressive display on Sunday as they claimed the championship title at the $400,000 ESL Katowice Royale Fortnite Duos tournament. They dominated several games, earning numerous Victory Royales and eliminations throughout. By the end of the tournament, Saf and Zayt held a commanding 161-point lead over the second-place duo, TSM’s Vinny “Vinny1x” Gilgan and Anthony “ZexRow” Colandro.

In the final match, Saf and Zayt finished in 10th place, but their previous performances had secured them the championship. As a result of their first-place finish, Saf and Zayt will take home the impressive $80,000 grand prize.

It’s worth noting that Saf has a history of winning major Fortnite tournaments. In February, he also emerged victorious in the $100,000 Secret Skirmish Duos tournament, alongside Ronald “Ronaldo” Mach from Rise Nation.

Vinny, who won the ESL Katowice Royale Solo tournament, and his partner ZexRow ended up in third place in the Duos competition. Saf’s teammates at Ghost Gaming also achieved top 10 finishes, with Dylan “Dmo” Moore and Timothy “Bizzle” Miller in fourth place, and Liam “Kamo” Fillery and Issa Rahim in ninth place.

Saf and Zayt will likely carry the momentum from this victory into future Fortnite Duos competitions later this year.
