Fortnite Likely to Introduce Reverse Gun Game Limited Time Mode

Reliable leaks point towards the arrival of a Reverse Gun Game LTM in Fortnite: Battle Royale in the near future. While Epic Games has yet to confirm this, the leaked information suggests that the mode will be introduced.
In a recent leak, FortTory, a dataminer, discovered an image of the Reverse Gun Game LTM’s main menu screen in Fortnite. However, the mode appears to be disabled for now. The mode description states that players will start with a powerful weapon, and with each elimination, they will be given progressively weaker weapons until they have used all the mode’s weapons.
Reverse Gun Game is a popular mode in the Call of Duty franchise, which has featured Gun Game in almost all of its titles over the years. It is unclear how this mode will translate to Fortnite.
Unlike Call of Duty, Fortnite generally does not use respawns in its game modes. Without respawns, the mode wouldn’t be viable as players would simply wait until the end and eliminate the final player with the most powerful weapon.
Regardless, the introduction of Reverse Gun Game will be an intriguing addition to Fortnite. Certain LTMs have been highly popular and requested by the fanbase, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Reverse Gun Game reaches that level of popularity.
