The Fourth Friday Fortnite Tournament Ends with New Champions
In the recent Friday Fortnite online tournament, a new duo emerged as the winners. TSM’s Darryle “Hamlinz” Hamlin and Ali “Myth” Kabbani claimed victory in the grand finals, defeating Andre “TypicalGamer” Rebolo and Nicholas “Thief” Smorto. Although both teams fought hard, the previous champions were hindered by early deaths.
As the winners, the TSM pair received a prize of $10,000 and a major title. Typical Gamer and Thief, on the other hand, took home $7,000 as the runners-up. Vikram “Vikkstar123” Barn and Tinny secured the third-place spot and received $3,000 for their performance.
Surprise Upsets and Unexpected Results in the Tournament
An underdog team, Vikkstar and Tinny gained recognition when they defeated the immensely popular Tyler “Ninja” Blevins in the second round. This shocking loss sent Ninja and his teammate Ben “DrLupo” Lupo into the losers bracket early, which was unexpected by many. However, they were not well-prepared to make a comeback like TSM did, as evidenced by their loss in the fourth round of the losers bracket.
With the elimination of the tournament’s biggest star before the halfway point and the early exit of several notable players, the final placings differed from what people had predicted.
