Fortnite Battle Royale Might Introduce the Freeze Trap, Says Leak
According to the Twitter account @FNBRLeaks, there might be a new addition to the world of Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Dataminers have discovered that the Freeze Trap from Save the World, another mode in Fortnite, could potentially be added to the popular battle royale game in a future update. Rumored to be a Rare (blue) item, this trap is said to have the ability to slow down players who get hit by it.
Considering that the Bouncer Trap was just retired with the launch of season six, it would make sense for Epic Games to introduce a new trap to Fortnite. The Freeze Trap, dealing minimal damage while briefly incapacitating enemies, is an intriguing concept. We can’t say for certain if it will be overpowered until it is officially added to the game, if ever.
As of now, Epic Games has neither confirmed nor denied the inclusion of the Freeze Trap in Fortnite: Battle Royale. Fans eagerly awaiting a new trap will have to be patient until official news is released.
