Ninja responds to backlash and addresses player reports

Twitch streamer Ninja addresses player ban controversies in Fortnite

Popular Twitch streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins recently discussed the player ban controversies that have surrounded Fortnite: Battle Royale in a recent interview with Daniel “Keemstar” Keem. Ninja addressed two specific incidents, one involving accusations of stream sniping and another where he was falsely accused of getting a player banned due to high ping.

Incident 1: Ninja’s overreaction and trolling

Ninja admitted that he overreacted during the first incident, where he accused a player of stream sniping. He explained that his behavior was “out of line” and attributed it to being under the influence. He further mentioned that the player’s motive behind the incident was to gain attention and popularity on social media, as the event gained traction on Reddit and Twitter.

Incident 2: Fabrication and lack of control

The second incident involved a fabricated story where a player falsely claimed that Epic Games banned them because Ninja had reported them. Ninja clarified that he had no control over this incident and described it as completely untrue. Unfortunately, the player’s campaign of slander against him has resulted in hate on various social media platforms.

Comparison to OpTic Gaming’s journey

Keemstar compared Ninja’s success to that of OpTic Gaming in Call of Duty, highlighting similarities in their rise to fame, peak popularity, and subsequent shift in fan opinions. Despite facing online negativity, Ninja remains confident that he will take his gaming career to the next level.
