Ninja and KingRichard Maintain Perfect Record in Friday Fortnite Tournament

The Weekly Friday Fortnite Tournament Continues with Exciting Upsets

The weekly Friday Fortnite tournament is currently underway and popular player Tyler “Ninja” Blevins remains undefeated. However, there have already been some major upsets in the competition.

Defending Champions Knocked into the Losers Bracket

In a surprising turn of events, Andre “TypicalGamer” Rebolo and Nicholas “Thief” Smorto, the defending champions, were defeated in the first round by Avery “Avxry” lopriore and NoahJ456. As a result, they were moved to the losers bracket.

Controversy for Logan Paul and His Team

Controversial YouTuber Logan Paul and his teammate, MARTIN, also faced a first-round defeat against popular vlogger Roman Atwood and FaZe Clan Fortnite player Brendan “Jaomock” O’Brien. Paul was subsequently eliminated from the tournament in the lower bracket by Tim “TimTheTatman” Betar and Ben “DrLupo” Lupo.

Controversy Arises During Matchup

During a match between TSM’s Ali “Myth” Kabbani and Darryle “Hamlinz” Hamlin against previous Friday Fortnite champions Sypher “SypherPK” Ali and Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff, controversy arose. It was revealed that SypherPK did not have the same stream delay as the other players, leading to a rule-breaking situation.

After learning about the delay, a tournament admin decided not to disqualify SypherPK’s team, understanding his intention. The admin instructed SypherPK to set the stream delay to 120 seconds on OBS. SypherPK and NICKMERCS went on to win the match against Myth and Hamlinz, causing frustration for Myth.

Exciting Matches Ahead

After their win over TSM, SypherPK and NICKMERCS faced off against Thang “SpaceLyon” Phan and Bryan “RiceGum” Le. They will then go on to face the impressive duo of Ninja and KingRichard in the quarterfinals. In another exciting matchup, NoahJ456 and Avxry defeated YouTubers Julie “ONE_shot_GURL” Loock and Nick Eh 30 to advance to the semifinals.

Keep an eye on teams like OpTic Gaming’s Jack “CouRage” Dunlop and Tyler “TeePee” Polchow, as well as Typical Gamer and Thief, who have made a comeback after their early loss in the tournament.
