Ninja and Esports Arena Collaborate for a Fortnite Charity Event in Las Vegas

Ninja to Host $50,000 Fortnite Event at Esports Arena

Fortnite: Battle Royale may not have fully established itself in the esports scene yet, but thanks to popular content creators like Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, it has gained massive mainstream attention with huge livestream numbers and an enormous following.

Next month, Ninja will team up with Esports Arena to organize a Fortnite event with a prize pool of $50,000. Competitors will have the chance to win the prize money by either defeating Ninja in Fortnite or donating it to a charity of Ninja’s choice.

So, how will the event work? There will be a total of 10 Fortnite games played, with $2,500 being awarded to the winner of each game. However, if Ninja emerges as the winner, the prize money will go to the chosen charity and the bounty will roll over to the next game.

In theory, if Ninja wins the first nine games, a total of $22,500 will be donated to charity. But since the bounties carry over from each game, if someone manages to beat Ninja in the tenth game, they will win a total of $25,000.

More information on how to participate in the event and details about the prizes will be provided at a later date. In the meantime, both Fortnite and Ninja fans can look forward to this exciting event.

Details About the Venue

The event will take place on Saturday, April 21 at Esports Arena, located inside the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas. According to the Esports Arena website, the venue boasts impressive features such as a “30,000 square foot multi-level arena,” a competition stage, a 50-foot LED video wall, telescopic seating, daily gaming stations, unique food and beverage options from Jose Andres, and a high-quality production studio.
