Ninja Achieves Record-Breaking 10 Million Twitch Followers

Twitch Streamer “Ninja” Breaks Records with 10 Million Followers

Popular streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has once again smashed a record on Twitch. He announced on Twitter that he is now the first streamer on the platform to reach 10 million followers, which was later confirmed by a Twitch representative.

Long-Running Success

Ninja has been streaming the game Fortnite since 2017 and has been consistently setting new records. In February, he became the first streamer to surpass 50,000 subscribers. Shortly thereafter, he reached an impressive 100,000 subscribers in just over a week and a half. By early March, his follower count on Twitch had soared past three million, resulting in a seven million gain within a span of six months.

Record-Breaking Streams

In mid-March, Ninja played Fortnite with rapper Drake during a live stream, setting a new record for concurrent viewership by a single streamer with 628,000 viewers tuning in at one point. Then, during his Esports Arena charity event in Las Vegas in April, Ninja peaked at over 660,000 viewers.

Ninja’s Unique Appeal

While Fortnite undeniably played a role in Ninja’s rise to fame, his personal success and reputation should not be overlooked. His presence alone is enough to attract a large audience to any Fortnite event or stream he participates in. Currently, he is set to stream live from the gaming lounge at the renowned music festival Lollapalooza, engaging in Fortnite matches with musical guests throughout the weekend.
