Fortnite: Battle Royale Update Adds New Items
In the latest v4.3 update for Fortnite: Battle Royale, two new items have been introduced.
In addition to these additions, there are also new cosmetics that can be found in the patch files. These include skins, gliders, pickaxes, and loading screens, which have been discovered by “TwoEpicBuddies” on Twitter, who is known for being the first to find them.
Among the new items found, there are six new skins in the game files. One of them appears to be a female version of the epic Venturion skin, which was recently released. This skin is expected to have the same rarity and cost 1,500 V-Bucks. Another skin is part of the superheroes theme, but has a unique look compared to the others.
The last two skins on the right side of the image are wearing jerseys from the “Gliders” basketball team. It’s interesting to wonder if they gained their fame on the Tilted Towers court before making it big. Maybe there’s some lore behind them.
Lastly, there are two individuals wearing old-school criminal outfits, looking quite mischievous. It seems like their goal is to rob treasure chests.
There are also basketball-themed items included, likely related to the black and white striped skins.
The new loading screens have an interesting contrast. The first one shows Carbide and Omega wearing full armor battling each other, while other heroes fight in the background. On the right side, there’s a mysterious new hero skin holding a plant-like pickaxe. The second loading screen features Valor and Omega having a casual chat on set, breaking the fourth wall.
