Epic Games and Microsoft Collaborate for Fortnite Xbox One S Bundle
Fornite: Battle Royale developer Epic Games has partnered with Microsoft to release a Fornite Xbox One S bundle.
Bundle Contents
During the Sept. 25 Xbox Inside live stream, it was announced that the Fortnite Xbox One S bundle will include the following:
- 1TB Xbox One S
- Fornite
- 2,000 V-Bucks
- EON skin
- Resonator Pickaxe
- Aurora Glider
- One-month trial for Xbox Game Pass
- One-month trial for Xbox Live Gold
Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 already have their own Fortnite bundles, so it’s only fitting that Microsoft also joins in.
Price and Availability
The Fornite Xbox One S bundle will cost $300, which is the standard price for Xbox One S consoles. It will be available at retailers like Best Buy and the Microsoft Store starting this week, as stated in Xbox Wire.

Nintendo and Epic recently announced their Fortnite-themed Nintendo Switch bundle, set to launch on Oct. 5 for $300. While the game comes pre-loaded on the console, the Switch-exclusive cosmetic set called “the Double Helix bundle” and 1,000 V-Bucks are also included.
Microsoft’s bundle surpasses that with an additional 1,000 V-Bucks. Depending on the launch date, these V-Bucks will be valuable for purchasing Fortnite’s season six battle pass. The launch of season six has been highly anticipated, set to start on Sept. 27. This morning, a new teaser image revealed a cowgirl and a purple lightning bolt, possibly linked to the purple cube that recently crashed in Loot Lake. However, this connection has not been officially confirmed.
