New Sandbox Version of Fortnite on the Horizon: Fortnite Creative

Fortnite Introduces Creative Mode for Free-Building Fun

The immensely popular game Fortnite is set to launch a new Creative game mode, offering players the freedom to build without the pressure of combat or winning Victory Royales. This mode will provide a similar experience to Minecraft, allowing gamers to unleash their creativity.

Fortnite players will find the Creative mode as a separate option in the game menu, alongside the PvP Battle Royale and PvE Save The World modes.

Early leaks of the Creative mode came from Fortnite YouTuber Lachlan. In a now-deleted video, he revealed that he had exclusive access to the mode and had been playing it for some time. Unfortunately, Lachlan broke an embargo by referring to the game mode as if it had already been announced.

Although Lachlan’s video is no longer available, mirrors exist online showcasing the Fortnite Creative gameplay.

In the Creative mode, players will have several servers with islands where they can freely build anything they desire. Unlike the other modes, they won’t have to worry about fall damage, and they will even have the ability to fly around the map. However, they will not be able to use weapons.

Fortnite Creative will also provide players with the ability to move and copy various island tiles, such as concrete, grass, and sand. This feature enables the creation of diverse environments, from cities and deserts to forests and biomes. Additionally, a menu will offer structure templates for placing special buildings from the Battle Royale and Save the World modes.

Essentially, Fortnite Creative is a full-fledged sandbox mode where players can focus on building their dream Fortnite islands alongside friends.

It appears that Fortnite Creative will be officially announced tomorrow at The Game Awards.
