Epic Games Introduces New Limited Time Mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale
Epic Games continues to spread holiday cheer by adding a brand-new Limited Time Mode (LTM) to Fortnite: Battle Royale today.
Replacing the Barebones mode introduced yesterday, the latest LTM called “Slide” promises a slippery good time with ice blocks attached to everyone’s feet and infinite ammo Grapplers in their inventories, as stated in the in-game description.
True to its description, Slide allows players to slide around the map with ice blocks on their feet, adding a unique element to gameplay. The inclusion of infinite-ammo Grapplers adds even more excitement. Additionally, players can jump to impressive heights. However, obtaining chests in high-up locations can be challenging as sliding back down is inevitable.
Another LTM, Team Terror, has returned to the game and will remain available for at least one more day. Introduced in Patch 6.22 on November 6, Team Terror features teams battling against each other while also fighting off Cube Monsters.

Epic Games has been cycling through LTMs every day during the holiday season. Therefore, Slide will likely only be available in Fortnite until tomorrow morning.
