According to renowned leaker Lucas7yoshi, Fortnite: Battle Royale leaks could potentially provide even more information about upcoming additions and changes in the game. The data miner shared with that the tools used to extract information from Fortnite game files are expected to become more sophisticated in the future, allowing for the extraction of additional data. Lucas7yoshi has been collaborating with the developers of these tools in hopes of enhancing their capabilities. However, he also mentioned that not much has changed in terms of how he discovers and leaks information compared to previous updates.
Improving Methods for Extracting Information
Lucas7yoshi currently relies on existing methods and tools, which have proven to be effective in retrieving significant amounts of information from Fortnite game files. However, there are occasions when certain details are missed or fail to be extracted. Lucas explains that this can happen when the tool encounters errors and retrieves incomplete or no data at all. Consequently, this leaves portions of the files unexplored and secrets to be discovered by data miners.
Enhancements for Data Mining Efforts
Lucas7yoshi highlighted that the planned improvements will primarily focus on enabling data miners to uncover every detail and ensure that nothing is missed during their exploration of the game files. Currently, data miners have devised methods to showcase upcoming skins and cosmetic items in a single image with their corresponding names, rarities, and descriptions, eliminating the need to manually review them individually. Additionally, they can automatically share updates to the in-game News tab on their Twitter accounts, informing followers who are not actively playing the game about the latest announcements.
No More Video Leaks, but More Thorough Leaks Expected
Unfortunately, video leaks revealing entire events and season-ending scenes may no longer be possible in the future. Lucas7yoshi informed that the previous method used for such leaks was patched a long time ago. As a result, data miners can now only uncover hints about future content through hidden information in the game files. However, fans who enjoy sneak peeks of what’s coming in Fortnite can anticipate more comprehensive and detailed leaks in the future.
