Keyboard and mouse support to be added to Xbox One for Fortnite

Xbox One to Introduce Keyboard and Mouse Support for Popular Games

Xbox One is set to receive keyboard and mouse support for a range of games, and one of the world’s most popular games will be among the first to benefit from this new feature.

Fortnite will be equipped with keyboard and mouse support on Xbox One starting on November 14, as announced by Nathan Mooney from Epic Games during the XO18 event. Concerns about players with different inputs will be addressed, as Epic Games ensures that players will only be matched against others who are using the same input devices.

Aside from Fortnite, other games such as Warframe, War Thunder, X-Morph Defense, Strange Brigade, Deep Rock Galactic, Bomber Crew, and Vermintide 2 will also receive keyboard and mouse support in the month of November.

In future updates, additional games like DayZ and Warface will have this feature implemented, although specific release dates for these games have not been announced yet.

This addition of keyboard and mouse support for Xbox One is expected to help level the playing field between Xbox One and its competing platform, PlayStation 4, which has supported different input devices for quite some time.
