Is Season 5 of Fortnite Bringing Back Some Mystery?
Fortnite’s fifth season has been relatively quiet compared to previous seasons, but that might be about to change.
Season three brought a massive meteor crash that transformed the map, while season four introduced rifts in time and space that caused similar changes.
Now, it seems that something new is on the horizon.
Recently, the Tomato Town mascot head reappeared on top of the restaurant. But this time, it’s different. The head is now made of stone and is facing northeast.
A Reddit user named OmegaTier100 pointed out that the head is looking directly at the dormant bunker in the middle of Wailing Woods.
The empty bunker was added to the game back in May, but until now, it has remained unused. Players have tried glitching inside using shopping carts, but like Al Capone’s vault, it has been completely empty. However, that might not be the case forever.
Although there isn’t much evidence to go on, it’s worth paying attention to any other peculiarities that may appear on the map in the coming weeks.
The fifth season of Fortnite is set to end around September 25th, so we can expect plenty of hints and Easter eggs leading up to the next big event.
