Luckily, players quickly discovered how to upgrade The Prisoner and unlock the second stage of this skin—by interacting with a key in the castle at Polar Peak.
What Comes Next for The Prisoner Skin?
Despite the rush to unlock the third stage of The Prisoner skin, there is currently no way to obtain it. According to well-known data miner Lucas7yoshi, the current version of Fortnite only includes two stages of The Prisoner skin. However, this doesn’t mean that more stages won’t be added in the future.

YouTuber KillerKingKevin has posted a video that potentially reveals the appearance of the third and fourth stages of The Prisoner skin. It’s important to note that these leaked stages have not been confirmed by Epic. Nonetheless, the video gives fans a good idea of what the last two stages of this skin might look like. It is speculated that in order to unlock the third stage, players will need to interact with the upcoming environmental campfires somewhere around the Fortnite map.
While stage three of The Prisoner skin is expected to become available next week at the earliest, Fortnite players should take a break from unlocking the next stage and enjoy this weekend’s Festivus event.
