The Ice Storm Event is Here: Challenges and Updates
The Ice Storm event has arrived in Fortnite: Battle Royale, bringing along a set of exciting challenges.
As part of the Ice Storm event, players will have access to 13 challenges. Two of these challenges were automatically activated after the Giant Ice King covered the battle royale map in snow, which also brought back the zombies.

Let’s take a look at the first two Ice Storm challenges:
- Destroy Ice Fiends (250)
- Deal damage with explosive weapons to the Ice Legion (5,000)
Unfortunately, the Ice Storm event is applicable in all playlists, which means normal Fortnite gameplay will have to wait until the event concludes. This is similar to the Fortnitemares event that occurred in October, where purple zombies appeared from obelisks.
