Guide: Viewing the Fortnite Fall Skirmish series

Epic Games is investing more money and competitions into Fortnite esports this autumn with the Fall Skirmish series.

The Fall Skirmish series will run for six weeks and will have a prize pool of $10 million, which is higher than the previous Summer Skirmish series that ended earlier this month. However, the Fall Skirmish series will have some differences from the summer series.

With the introduction of Clubs and unique formats, the Fall Skirmish series will offer a new experience for players. The stakes are high, with both cash and prestige on the line, and players will be aiming to outperform their opponents.

The Fall Skirmish games will be livestreamed on the official Fortnite Twitch and YouTube channels.

Participants

Epic Games has invited 500 “community creators and competitors” to participate in the Fall Skirmish series. These players are divided into five Clubs: Fort Knights, Lucky Llamas, Dusty Dogs, Rift Raiders, and Bush Bandits. Each player will represent their respective Club throughout the series and earn points based on their performance.

Based on the previous Summer Skirmish series, fans can expect to see some of the community’s biggest personalities in the Fall Skirmish series. Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff and Ali “Myth” Kabanni were just a few of the popular names that competed in the Summer Skirmish.

Schedule

The final week of the Fall Skirmish series will start on Friday, Oct. 26 at 12pm CT with the first heat of qualifiers.

System

In addition to competitive formats, the Fall Skirmish series will also feature “entertainment” formats. This means that besides showcasing the most talented players, there will be ATK races, golf rounds, and other mini-games.

This week’s competitive format will be a Duos competition. The official rules have not been released by Epic yet. Additionally, there will be a three-match Stream-vitational event on Sunday, Oct. 28.
