Fortnite: Battle Royale Summer Skirmish Comes to an Exciting Conclusion at PAX West

Over the past month and a half, fans of Fortnite: Battle Royale have been treated to the impressive skills displayed by the best players in the weekly Summer Skirmish events. The final installment of this eight-week series is set to take place from Friday, Aug. 31 to Monday, Sept. 3 at PAX West in Seattle.

To everyone’s delight, the PAX West Fortnite Summer Skirmish will be easily accessible for viewers. You can catch all the action live at 8pm CT on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Mixer, with the grand finals starting at 1pm CT on Monday, Sept. 3.

Format and Schedule

The developers at Epic Games have been experimenting with different formats throughout the Summer Skirmish, and the finale is no exception. The event will be a Solo tournament, with players earning points based on their Victory Royales, top placings, and eliminations. Daily qualifiers on Aug. 31, Sept. 1, and Sept. 2 will determine who will advance to the nightly qualifiers. Finally, the top 33 players from each night will battle it out in the six-game grand finals on Sept. 3.

Huge Prize Pool up for Grabs

Epic Games is wrapping up the Summer Skirmish with its biggest prize pool yet: $1.5 million. Additionally, all players who finish in the top 100 will receive a piece of the prize, and there is a $25,000 bonus for anyone who can achieve a Victory Royale in the grand finals.
