Fortnite’s Shopping Cart is Temporarily Unavailable

Fortnite’s First Vehicle Temporarily Disabled Due to Issue

Epic Games has announced that Fortnite’s first ever vehicle, the Cart, has been temporarily disabled this morning due to an unspecified issue. This comes despite the release of the v4.4 update, which aims to address bugs affecting the new item.

Introducing Shopping Carts to Fortnite

Shopping Carts are a new addition to Fortnite, as the game has never had vehicles before. The map is small enough that players can easily travel on foot, with the help of items like Jump Pads. However, Shopping Carts offer players a chance to outrun the circle and navigate the map more efficiently. They also allow for exciting jumps and stunts.

Challenges with the New Addition

In this week’s patch, Epic attempted to fix some of the issues with Shopping Carts through various bug fixes. However, it seems that the update may have caused more problems than it solved, leading to the temporary disablement of the item.

Similar to the Guided Missile Launcher Situation

This situation with the disabled Shopping Cart reminds players of how Epic addressed the Guided Missile Launcher in the past. The Launcher was initially taken out of the game to fix a bug but was eventually removed permanently due to negative feedback from players.

Update: Shopping Carts Temporarily Disabled Again

Epic has announced that Shopping Carts have been disabled once again due to a bug. They will remain disabled until a fix is implemented. Epic will provide updates on the issue’s resolution.
